All classes take place at my studio - 256 West 116th Street in Harlem.

If you are interested in a class, but the schedule does not work for you, please get in touch. There is a possibility that the day and time could be shifted.
PLEASE NOTE: All classes will begin in December or January. Classes without a start date will be scheduled as soon as enough students are enrolled.

HOMESCHOOL CLASSES
PAINTING
Ages 9-12
Kids will learn to mix colors, work with different brushes, explore texture, and shape, and create paintings that tell stories while considering how to show what's close and what's far, paint people and animals, and suggest mood. The class will be a fun painting exploration!
10 Sessions

Time: 1:00-2:30

ART SAMPLER
Ages 9-12
Come join us to explore drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and more in this 12-session class working with lots of different art materials and ideas. In addition to creating we will look at art from around the world!
12 Sessions
Dates: Tuesdays Dec 3, 10, Jan 14, 21, 28, Feb 4, 11, 25, March 4, 11, 18, and 25
Time: 12:00-1:30
Location: Pam's Studio 256 West 116 St, Harlem
Cost: $396 per child including materials

MAKING BOOKS!
Ages 8-11
In this class, we will explore the wonderful world of handmade books. Cutting, folding, and sewing, kids will learn to make some basic book forms. We will also make books to fill in class with poems and illustrations. Shaped books, sculptural books, books with pockets, pop-up books, and more are all possible.
10 Sessions
Dates: Fridays Jan 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, 14, 28, March 7, 14, 21, and 28
Time: 11:00-12:30

AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES
SEWING BY MACHINE & BY HAND
Ages 9-12
Students will explore different methods to work creatively with fabric as we dip into the rich traditions of dyeing, hand-printing, machine sewing, and embroidery. Kids will use sewing machines to create pillowcases, tote bags, and clothing.  
10 Sessions
Dates: Tuesdays (Dates TBD)
Time: 4:00-5:30
Location: Pam's Studio, 256 West 116 St, Harlem
Cost: $330 per child including most materials

DRAWING & PAINTING
for Ages 10-13
We will explore many aspects of drawing and painting, working with a variety of materials including pencil, pastels, charcoal, Sumi Ink, tempera paint, and watercolors. Working both from observation and our imaginations we’ll investigate line, shape, texture, pattern and ideas. Building on our drawing explorations we’ll delve into painting, mixing colors, working with brushes, mark-making, and more.
10 Sessions
Dates: Thursdays Dec 5, 12, Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb 6, 13, 27, and March 6
Time: 4:00-5:30
