HOMESCHOOL CLASSES
Homeschool Textile Printing Workshop - THIS CLASS IS FULL
Ages 11 and up 
Students will explore design, pattern, layering, and color in this 6 session class. We will work with both screen printing using stencils and block printing on a variety of textiles including tea towels, tote bags, and t-shirts. The class will focus both on learning new techniques plus lots of experimentation!
Dates: Mondays, April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20.  
Time: 1:00-2:30

Drawing Creatures Furry and Feathered! - THIS CLASS IS FULL
Ages 7-10
In this 8-session class, we will look at animals in art from around the world, and make lots of our own animal drawings. Breaking down forms into lines, shapes, and textures, kids will work with a variety of drawing tools including pencil, charcoal, pastels, and more. We’ll explore materials, ideas, and drawing techniques, share our work, and together create our own zoo!
Dates: Tuesday, March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, and 16, 23 and 30
Time: 1:00-2:30

Monthly Homeschool Art Sampler  THIS CLASS IS FULL
Ages 5-9
Meeting once a month throughout the school year we will explore lots of art materials and ideas! Drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture will all be introduced in a playful setting. I will also recommend art exhibits to visit as the year progresses expanding on the kids’ hands-on work done in my studio.
Dates: Wednesday, Sept 20, Oct 18, Nov 15, Dec 20, Jan 17, Feb 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, and June 19.
Time: 11:00-12:00

Drawing Class at The Met Museum THIS CLASS IS FULL
Ages 6-10
Each week we will visit different quiet galleries where we'll look closely, and draw from both observation and our imaginations. I will introduce age-appropriate and fun drawing techniques and ideas for the kids to investigate. Each session will bring new surprises as we explore all kinds of art plus some architectural details in the museum.
Dates: Thursday, April 18, 25, May 2, and 9.
Time: 10:30 -12:00
Location: Metropolitan Museum of Art
Cost: $125 including materials

Printmaking and Painting! THIS CLASS IS FULL
Ages 5-8
In this class, we will print and paint with many different tools and materials. Children will explore lots of possibilities and learn new techniques along the way in a fun and supportive setting.
Dates: Friday, Feb 16, 23, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5, 12, and 19. 
Time: 1:00-2:30

AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES
Creatures and Characters THIS CLASS IS FULL
Ages 6-10
In this class, we will use paper-mache and a variety of materials to create sculptural creatures. Kids will invent, build, paint, and embellish, as they bring their critters to life!
Dates: Monday, April 15, May 6, 13, 20, June 3, and 10.

Time: 4:15-5:15
